- Bon Iver – dudes isolates himself to a cabin to write breakup songs.
- Airborne – Invented by a School Teacher
- Postal Service: two guys exchanged recordings over mail (hence the name).
- Oyster: Netflix for Books
- Countless companies “started in a garage.”
